Harlem raised me.
Purpose drives me.
I’m Coach AJ. Basketball was my first passion.
Helping people
live better became my calling.
I grew up in Harlem, sneaking vegetables off my plate when my grandmother wasn’t looking. By ten, I was playing high-level basketball—sometimes three games or practices on a school night. I knew how to push my body. I hadn’t yet learned how to nourish it.
The late-night muscle cramps. My grandmother’s rubbing-alcohol rubdowns. Losing a good friend in gym class. Those experiences stayed with me, and later conversations with Dr. Joel Wallach changed how I thought about nutrition.
That curiosity led me to Youngevity and Rebound FX, with a mission to help young athletes. Today, I’m a Certified Wholistic Health Coach, a podcast collaborator with Pharmacist Ben Fuchs, and a lifelong student of how the body works.
